Eat the Right Foods
While eating healthy is great in general, eating certain healthy foods can focus and fuel you when you are studying.
Whenever you are starting to drool on your textbook, or you think that it would look really good flying out of the window right about now, consider these foods to keep you going:
-
Water
-
Apples
-
Berries
-
Nuts
-
Onions
-
Fish

Use Your Senses
-
Use your sense of hearing
-
If music doesn’t distract you, listen to one, or a small handful, of songs over and over again when studying. Then, when you get stuck on a test, sing those lyrics back to yourself.
-
Create your one song/poem based on the material you are testing on. Then sing it to yourself during the test.
-
-
Use your sense of taste
-
Gum
-
Chapstick
-
-
Use your sense of smell
-
Use the same lotion testing as when studying
-
Use the same perfume/cologne testing as when studying
-
-
-
Use your sense of sight
-
Color code notes
-
While testing, wear similar/same clothing you were wearing when you studied
-
-
Use your sense of touch
-
When studying, read from a physical textbook instead of an electronic one
-
Handwrite notes
-
While testing, use the same pencil/pen as when studying
