Meagan Baron

Meagan Baron is just my name; not my character.

My currently unpublished and unfinished novel series, Mood Eyes, reveals my character. Through writing and media, I aspire to be a novelist and obtain a PR position (or similar) at a book publishing company. Currently, I am in my second semester at WSU’s ICE program (Integrated Communications at Everett, WA), majoring in integrated communications and minoring in business. I plan to graduate spring 2016.

I’ve been a Snohomish County Washingtonian my entire life (21 years). The emotion-packed Washington landscape has contributed to fueling my creative soul; it’s forever my home. Home…My home has been constructive chaos from the very beginning. That being said, I have always worked my butt off to get good grades and help other people who have been through various traumas with my writing (novels) and my Facebook Page: Violence Survivors: Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault & etc.. Helping people is one of my callings, which is why I was so interested in contributing to this website. I constantly like to gather new information on coping and advancing tactics to solve life’s obstacles (something I refer to as my tool belt). Through this website, I hope to lend out a hand and contribute to others’ tool belts. College is tough, but we can do this!

Additionally, I love music. There’s rarely a time when my headphones are not plugged into my head. KISS is my favorite band, but I never turn down bands like Alice Cooper, Mötley Crüe, Theory of a Dead Man  and Disturbed. My favorite music genres are rock, metal and punk, but I like nearly everything.

Further hobbies include reading, crafting, social media, camping and spending time with my boyfriend, friends and family. I love tinkering around and creating new inventions such as jewelry, decorations, hair accessories, duct tape masterpieces, etc. My hobbies allow me to feed my creative side and escape into my world and leave behind life’s problems temporarily.

I welcome each of you into my group’s world of college survival.
